This is initially a fixed term contract for 2 terms (Jan-Aug 2022) This post would be ideal for experienced teachers who are committed to developing their practice and maximising their impact on learning. Teaching Assistant  – Level 2 –  Reception

Level 2 – 30 hours per week,  permanent to start as soon as possible

Salary Scale 2 5-6 (£19,312- £19,698 Pro rata – Term-time only. Actual salary is  £14,789 – £15,084)

We are seeking to appoint a caring  teaching assistant to join our committed, professional and friendly team.  The successful candidates will, in the first instance, be supporting in the classroom working closely but not solely with a child with additional needs.

We would be particularly interested in hearing from applicants who:

  • have experience in or a desire to work in Reception
  • have a proven track record of supporting a child with medical needs or an interest in doing so and/or
  • have experience of successfully supporting children with  communication and interaction needs or a desire to do so
  • are able to work flexibly as part of a team with drive and passion to ensure that all children achieve
  • are willing and able to share good practice and learn from others

The successful candidate will be expected to meet all aspects of the job description.

Finance /Administration Officer

Full time 37 hours per week during term time, plus approx. 5 days during the school holidays/inset days by agreement. 

The salary is Grade 3 SCP 5-6 depending on experience £19,312-£19,698 FTE to be pro-rated for part time working – (£10.01 – £10.21 per hour).

We are a happy, friendly school with a supportive staff team. Our aspirations for the children will be achieved by providing the teaching staff with excellent office support. Our ideal candidate will have experience of working in a finance role in a school, or other organisation, which will enable them to deliver effective management of the school finances in conjunction with the Business Manager. They should also have strong  administration skills and be able to adapt to all aspects of working in a busy school office, show initiative and take the lead in providing a friendly welcome to all visitors, parents and pupils. Strong IT skills will also be an advantage.

Senior Midday Play and Lunch Leader Vacancy

Working hours are 10 hours per week Monday to Friday Term-time only
Salary: Scale 5-6 £19,312 – £19,698 Pro rata (actual rate equates to £10.01 to £10.21 per hour) dependent on experience.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Midday Play and Lunch Leader to join our friendly team at Morley Memorial Primary School.

There will be supervisory responsibilities for Play and lunch leaders /midday supervisors and pupil leaders.

Candidates must:
• Have the desire to lead safe and stimulating play
• Be committed to equal opportunities and safeguarding children
• Be able to work as a team

Hourly rate – (£10.41 to £11.27)

We are seeking to appoint a part time Site Manager responsible for ensuring that the premises and grounds of the school are maintained to the highest possible level of cleanliness and are attractive in appearance at all times.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in assisting with the efficient running of the school and to contribute to the school’s exciting future plans.
