Senior Midday Play and Lunch Lead

Morley Memorial Primary School is a friendly, inclusive 2  form entry school on the to the south Cambridge City. We are looking to recruit a Senior Midday Play and Lunch Leader to co-ordinate the work of our dedicated team of midday staff and ensure our children have happy, healthy and active lunchtimes.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys play and being outdoors
  • Is friendly and approachable
  • Is organised and can manage a team effectively
  • Shares our commitment to safe, happy and healthy play
  • Has excellent communication skills

Playworker Required for Spectrum

Part-time

Scale 1 (point 10-12) £8.09-£8.36 per hour

Morley Memorial Primary School have Playwork vacancies for November 2017, and we’re looking for new members to join our team of staff to provide a play-based childcare provision for children in Breakfast, After-School Club and Holiday Clubs (Spectrum). Spectrum is a fun and busy club, where the children feel at home in a welcoming and stimulating environment. Breakfast Club provision runs from 0730-0845 and After-School Club from 1500-1800 Monday to Friday during term-time. Optional Casual Hours are available between 0800-1800 in school holidays and teacher training days.

We currently have vacancies for afternoon hours however there is scope for additional hours at breakfast club, during school lunchtimes and holidays. Hours are open to negotiation but letters of application should indicate availability.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, patient, conscientious and aware of their duty of care to the children in the setting. Flexibility and teamwork skills are obviously crucial, as is a sense of ebullience and the desire to play. Successful applicants will be expected to adhere to all policies and procedures of the setting and undertake appropriate training to compliment any existing qualifications and experience.
