Deputy Office Manager

Salary: Level 2 Scale 4 point 18-21 (£17,714 – £19,742 FTE)
37 hours per week from 8.30am Mon-Fri, term-time only (plus 5 days during the school holidays.)

We are looking to recruit a new Deputy Office Manager to join our admin team.

We are a happy, friendly school with a supportive staff team. We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate strong IT skills suitable for a 21st century office (including the ability to update and manage the school website) and be able to adapt to all aspects of working in a busy school office, show initiative and provide a friendly, positive welcome to all visitors, parents and pupils.

Morley Memorial Primary School is looking to appoint a clerk to the governing body.

    • Hours: 3.5 hours a week
    • Salary: £19,742pa pro rata (£10.23 per hour)

The role of the clerk to governors is to:

    • provide advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters
    • provide effective administration of governor meetings and other governance matters
    • manage information for the governing body in accordance with legal requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative, interpersonal and communication skills. They will need to be pro-active about taking the initiative and will need to be exceptionally well organised. They should have a flexible approach to working hours and be committed to their own professional development.
